Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data is processed when you visit bestaromadiffuser.co.uk and what rights you have under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Version of 9 September 2026.

Who the controller is

Scentech V.O.F. Buitenhaven 65, 5211 TR 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 95312048 · VAT NL867082719B01 Email: support@scentech.store · Telephone: +31 85 401 68 41

The controller is established in the Netherlands and has no UK establishment. Because this site is aimed at people in the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR applies to the processing described below alongside the EU GDPR, and the Information Commissioner's Office is the authority you can complain to.

What this site processes

Best Aroma Diffuser is a static website. There are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no basket. The only processing happens at the level of the hosting and the fonts.

Hosting with Cloudflare. The pages are served by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver the site and protect it from abuse, Cloudflare processes your IP address, the time of your visit, the page requested, your browser type and the referring page in technical logs. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Cloudflare acts as our processor; the retention period for those logs is set by Cloudflare and is short. Data may be processed outside the United Kingdom on the basis of the UK international data transfer addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

No cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own and loads no analytics, advertising or social media scripts. No visitor profile is built, and there is nothing here for you to consent to or refuse.

Fonts. The headings and body text use typefaces loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). Google receives your IP address in order to deliver the font file. The lawful basis is again our legitimate interest in a legible, consistent page (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR).

The buttons and product links on this site lead to getscentech.com, the shop operated by the same company. Those links carry a tracking parameter (a referral code and campaign parameters) so that an order can be attributed to this site. The attribution happens in the shop, not here: this site stores nothing about you and cannot recognise you on a second visit.

Once you are on getscentech.com you are on a different website with its own privacy notice. That shop runs on Shopify and uses the GoAffPro affiliate application, both of which set their own cookies and process your data under the shop's notice. Nothing on this page describes what happens after you click.

Links to John Lewis & Partners, tisserand.com, homedics.co.uk, Holland & Barrett, Trustpilot and other sources are ordinary links with no tracking of ours attached. Those sites have their own notices.

Data we receive directly

If you email or telephone us, we process what you send in order to answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR), or to perform a contract where your message concerns an order (Article 6(1)(b)). Correspondence is kept no longer than needed for the matter it concerns and for any statutory retention period that applies to it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to your personal data, and for rectification or erasure of it; the right to ask us to restrict processing, and the right to data portability; and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including the logging described above. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting what was done before.

To exercise any of these, email support@scentech.store. We answer within one month. Because most of the processing here is done by our hosting provider and produces no identifiers we can search, we may need more information from you before we can locate anything at all.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113. Because the controller is established in the Netherlands, you may instead approach the Dutch authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in The Hague.
